| What is OSE
|
The Oman Society of
Engineers was established on 14th of July 2001 by a
ministerial decision. The OSE is a non-governmental
organization that seeks to advance all matters related to
engineers & engineering in Oman. It is open to all engineering
disciples and to both Omani & Expatriate engineers. All
engineers engaged in engineering activities within Oman are
required to become members as per the recent ministerial
decision announced at the 2nd National Manpower Symposium.
The society is run by volunteers from diverse organizations
and industries. It is governed by a constitution and is run on
a zero profit basis with sponsorship & membership fees as the
main revenue sources.
